Halloween -Alabama-

We went back on the 29th to the 31st to have Halloween in Alabama. Jason had to work and also had wednesday night activities at church so he was unable to come. On the night of the 29th we went to Trunk or Treat, but this time Kenshi was prepared with his costume. Kenshi changed into Kung fu Baby! I took Kenshi around and said Trick or Treat and got lots of candy. Kenshi cannot eat candy yet so I ate it for him! It was cold but a very fun Trunk or Treat.

＜ハロウィーン　－アラバマ－＞

ハロウィーンをジェイソンの家族と過ごすため、２９日から３１日までケンくんと私はアラバマへ。

ジェイソンは仕事や教会の活動があったので、残念ながら１人でお留守番でした。

２９日の夜は、教会のハロウィーンパーティーでＴｒｕｎｋ ｏｒ Ｔｒｅａｔをしました。

今回はケンくんもちゃんとコスチュームに着替えました。

ケンくんは、カンフーベイビーに変身！

私もケンくんを連れて「Ｔｒｉｃｋ ｏｒ ｔｒｅａｔ！」と言って、キャンディをもらって回りました。

もちろんケンくんはまだキャンディは食べれないので、ママがいただきです♪

寒かったけど、楽しいＴｒｕｎｋ ｏｒ Ｔｒｅａｔでした。

Kenshi had a little friend. She was a Geisha.

ケンくんの仲間もいました。

彼女は芸者をイメージしているそうです。

Jason ( back in Atlanta) invited the young men over for curry and Pumpkin roll. They had a good time.

この日、ジェイソンは教会の若い男の子達を我が家に招待して、私が作っておいたカレーとお母さんが作ったパンプキンロールをサーブして、楽しい時間を過ごせたみたいです。

On the 30th we just relaxed. On the 31st we went to Katie's football game. This time it was away. It was about 1 hour from Wetumpka called Phoenix City. After Jason finished work he also went to Phoenix City and we watched the football game together. After the game we headed back to Atlanta. Jason was tired so a did my best to talk to him the whole way home.

３０日はお家でゆっくり過ごして、３１日はケイティの高校のフットボールの試合へ。

今回はアウェイだったので、実家から１時間半離れたフィネックスシティーというところに行きました。

ジェイソンも仕事が終わった後フィネックスシティーに来て、一緒にフットボールを楽しみました。

その後、私達はアトランタへ。

帰りはジェイソンも私も眠くて眠くて、２時間必死に話し続けました（笑）。

It was quite cold, so we wrapped up Kenshi.

夜はとっても寒かったね～。グルグル巻きのケンくん。

Since I started living in America it is almost 2 years ( We lived in Canada and Japan for a while as well) and don't know how the holidays are spent. This year I am glad that we are close to Jason's family. Now that we have a child I want the holidays to be fun, and it is great to have Grandpa and Grandma close by. Living in America, I feel like I am forgetting Japanese holidays, but I will teach my children all about Japanese holidays.

アメリカに住み始めて２年経ちますが（途中、カナダや日本に住んでいましたが）、未だにアメリカの祝祭日の過ごし方がよく分かりません。

でも、今年からジェイソンの家族の近くに住むことになって、祝祭日を一緒に過ごせることに感謝しています。

子供がいると尚更、楽しい祝祭日にしたいので、おじいちゃんおばあちゃんが近くにいて本当に良かったです。

アメリカにいると、日本の祝祭日が忘れがちになってしまいますが、ちゃんとケンくんにも伝えていきたいと思います。
