9 Month Check-up

Today was Kenshi's 9 month check-up. Kenshi was 19 pounds, and for his weight in the 25th percentile. He was 28 and a quarter, and for his height in the 25 to 50th percentile. The doctor said "skinny baby!". Kenshi's chin and belly are not skinny at all. His head circumference was 18 and a quarter, and in the 75th percentile. I don't think his head is that big, but his cousin Gennosuke's head was also above average. Looks like he got my side of the family's head size. (ouch!)

＜９ヶ月検診＞
ケンくんの９ヶ月検診へ。
体重８．６ｋｇ、身長７１．９ｃｍ。
体重は平均の２５％、身長は２５～５０％でした。
先生に「スキニーベイビー！」と言われたけど、ケンくんのアゴとお腹は全然スキニーじゃないんだよね～（笑）。
頭囲は４６．５ｃｍで、平均の７５％。
そんなに頭が大きいとは思わないけど、いとこの弦ちゃんも頭囲は平均以上だったし、やっぱり頭は私の家系みたいです…あいたたた（笑）。

Everything was fine except I asked about Kenshi's teeth. We were told that it was normal and there is nothing to worry about. We finished the visit off with some shots (vaccinations). I also got a flu shot. At 6 months, he cried when they put him on the scale and checked his body, but this time he was happy all the way through until the shots. Good job Kenshi!

全て順調ですが、まだ歯が生えてこないことを相談しました。
普通のことで、心配することはないと言われました。
そして、最後は予防接種！
今回は私もインフルエンザの予防接種を受けました。
前回の６ヶ月検診では、体重計に乗る時も、体をチェックされる時もずっと泣いていましたが、今回はずっとご機嫌だったケンくん（注射の時以外は）。
今回もよく頑張ったね！
