Blairsville

Yesterday Mom and Grandma came to stay with us for 3 days 2 nights. It was the first time Grandma Copley came to our house. Today we traveled 2 hours north to a place called Blairsville to get Mom's oboe fixed. Blairsville was an small old city in the mountains. It was rough when we got to the winding roads in the mountains. Grandma started to feel bad so we took a break at the top (It had been a long time, but I also got a little car sick myself), but the view was beautiful. When we got to Blairsville we went to the shop, dropped off the oboe, and went to eat at a nearby cafe. The air was clear, and it felt great taking a walk.

＜ブレイルズヴィル＞

昨日の夜から２泊３日で、ジェイソンのお母さんとおばあちゃんが我が家へ遊びに来てくれました。
おばあちゃんは初めて我が家に来てくれました。
今日はお母さんのオーボを調整するため、うちから北に２時間離れたブレイルズヴィルというところに行ってきました。
ブレイルズヴィルは山の中にある古くて小さな町。
山に入ると道が曲がりくねっていて、けっこう大変でした。
おばあちゃんが途中気持ちが悪くなり、休憩を取りながらのドライブ。（私も久しぶりに少し車に酔いました…）
でも景色はとてもきれいでした。
ブレイルズヴィルに着いてオーボを預けて、歩いて近くのカフェにランチへ。
空気が澄んでいて、お散歩するのもとても気持ち良かったです。

いつも犬を見たら近づいて行くケンくんですが、このワンちゃんにはビビリ気味でした。 In front of the nearby cafe.

Mom waited at the oboe place until it was finished. We along with Grandma went to a nearby park. While Grandma and Kenshi took naps in the car, Jason and I walked around the park. A small stream was nearby and it was beautiful. When Kenshi woke up, we played at the playground for a little bit and then headed back to the oboe place.

お母さんは調整が終わるまで工房に残り、おばあちゃんと私達は近くの公園へ。
おばあちゃんとケンくんは車の中で眠っていたので、ジェイソンと私は公園をうろうろ、デート気分♪
川も流れていてとてもきれいなところでした。
ケンくんが起きてからは、遊具で少し遊んで、工房へ。

On the way back home we stopped at a waterfall. It was beautiful, but very cold. (We went while Grandma waited in the car). When we arrived home, everyone was so tired, but it was a fun day.

帰り道にある滝に寄って家路へ。
滝はとてもきれいだったけど、とても寒かったぁ～。（おばあちゃんは車の中で待機）
家に着いた時はみんなクタクタでしたが、とっても楽しい一日でした。
