From the 18th to the 22nd Jason went to Puerto Rico and Miami for games, so Kenshi and I went home to Alabama. It is wonderful to have family close by. This time we decided to leave was the morning that Jason was leaving, so we quickly packed, took Jason to the airport, and we were headed home. Kenshi always sleeps in the car on the way, but he took a nap just before we left. For the first hour and a half he was whining. While driving, I tried giving him snacks and toys, but no effect. Halfway through, we stopped at a rest area and took a brake. After that, Kenshi slept all the way home. We arrived safely home. Grandma and Kenshi were very happy to see each other. When we got there Kenshi walked 2 steps by himself. I think Kenshi gets excited when we go to Grandpa and Grandma's house.
＜アラバマ＆最後の遠征＞
１８日から２２日までジェイソンがプエルトリコとマイアミに遠征でいなくなるので、ケンくんと私はジェイソンの実家へ。
本当に家族が近くにいるのは素晴らしいことです！
今回アラバマに行くのを決めたのは出発する当日。
朝からパッキングをしたりとバタバタでした。
ジェイソンを空港で降ろして、いざアラバマへ！
いつもアラバマに行く時は車の中でよく寝てくれるケンくんですが、今回は家を出る前にお昼寝をしてしまったせいで、１時間半はグズりっぱなしでした。
運転しながら必死におやつやおもちゃを渡しても効果がなく、レストエリアに止まって少し休憩。
残りの１時間半はぐっすり眠ってくれました。
無事にジェイソンの実家に着き、おばあちゃんとの再会にケンくんも大喜び。
なんと！ケンくん、着いてしばらくした頃、ひとりで２歩歩きました！
おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんの家に来ると調子が乗ってくるのかな？（笑）

レストエリアで。 
That night we went to watch Grandma play the oboe at her band concert, which she practices for every week. When Kenshi was 5 months old we went to hear Grandma play, but the noise surprised him so we had to take him outside. I was a little worried this time, but he wasn't surprised and listened all the way until the last 5 minutes when he started to talk in a loud voice, so we went outside. It was a lot of fun.
アラバマに着いた日の夜は、お母さんが所属するバンドのコンサートへ。
お母さんはオーボという楽器を演奏されていて、毎週バンドの練習に参加されています。
ケンくんが５ヶ月くらいの時にもお母さんのコンサートに行きましたが、ケンくんが音に驚いて泣くかもと会場の外で演奏を聴いたことがあります。
今回も少し心配でしたが、驚くどころかとてもいい子にして演奏を聴いていました。
最後の５分だけは大きな声でお話を始めたので会場の外へ。
良い音楽を聴いてとても素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。
While we were in Alabama, Kenshi had a rough time with diarrhea and diaper rash. Whenever I would try to change his diaper he would scream. (That is why he there are alot of pictures of Kenshi with just a diaper on.) His bottom was hurting, but watching Taffy from the window and playing with Grandma he was very happy. In the morning on the 22nd I had to pick up Jason at the train station so Kenshi and I left on the 21st to Atlanta. Our Vacation to Alabama was very fun.
アラバマでは、ケンくんも私もとてもゆったりした時間を過ごし、ジェイソンの家族ととても楽しい時間を過ごしました。
アラバマにいる間、ケンくんは少し下痢気味でオムツかぶれがひどく、オムツを替える度に大泣きしてとてもかわいそうでした。
（なので、今回の写真はオムツ姿のケンくんが多いです）
お尻は痛いけど、外にいるタフィーを見て興奮したり、おばあちゃんと遊んで終始ご機嫌でした。
２２日の午前中にジェイソンを駅まで迎えに行かないといけないので、２１日のお昼過ぎにアラバマを後にしました。
とっても楽しいアラバマの旅でした。
