This morning we ate mochi that we bought at the Japanese store yesterday. (Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and molded into shape. While also eaten year-round, mochi is a traditional food for the Japanese New Year and is commonly sold and eaten during that time. -from Wikipedia) Dad and Mom also tried it! Dad tried a one bite and said pass. Mom ate one whole one. I don't think too many Americans like mochi. But Jason loves it and ate 5! Jason loves Japanese food.
